Quality of Choice School of Wedding Planning

This is a correspondence based program that you can finish between 6 months and 3 years. At the end of the program you receive your IWPP (International Wedding Planning Professional) certification but what is involved in the program is more important. This is not a web based program, you sign up a receive a huge box full of resources including reading material, DVDs, a guide on starting your own business and a huge wedding ideas book. It is completely work at your own pace which can be a good or bad thing depending on your learning style but I am a certified event planner and have to say that I love the variety of this course.

Once you have finished the first of the four units you can email all of the files or print them out and send them to the school (based in Quebec, Canada) and they will assign someone to grade your work. You then have access to constant dialogue with the person who will be grading your work by email or phone.

When I started the course I had questions before anyone was assigned to me and I got prompt responses from the creator of the program herself. I would suggest this to anyone just starting out with little to no knowledge and current event or wedding planners looking to brush up on their knowledge and skills.
