Madison Area Technical College

The Meeting and Event Management program at MATC is the best in my opinion. Its an AAS degree and you learn a great deal in the two years of obtaining your degree.
MATC was the 1st college to offer a program about meetings and events, Janet Sperstead is your main Professor (she was voted MPI of 2007). Janet really wants her students to be educated and she offers great advice and knowledge gained from years of experience. Also MATC offers a class called Program Design and Development. No other institution offers this class. Its about planning content for meetings, conferences and events. Another great thing is the program is not considered in the hospitality field, Meetings and Events are a field all their own.
Every time I get an email from Sirena, I learned most of the information at MATC already.
