International travel is hard on the body; spending time on planes, in hotels, and enduring jet lag and time zone changes. It can be frustrating dealing with cultural differences, language barriers, and currency exchanges, especially in business.

But if you have a desire to see all that this wonderful planet has to offer, meet people who are so different and yet so similar at the same time, try new foods and languages and, most importantly, broaden your mind and understanding of other cultures, then you are on the right path! And you will never regret your decision.

If you're not interested in becoming an international on-site coordinator, then perhaps exploring your options in international business would be a good choice for you. Also, if you work for a major hotel chain, you can easily transfer to another property and have the change to live in different countries while keeping your job.
