GWU - Event Management Certification
by Serena
(Princeton, NJ)
I wanted to get Event Management Certification to give myself an edge over other planners / aspiring planners in this industry. I knew that education combined with experience is the best way to go - so last spring I enrolled in the GWU program and have had the most amazing experience since!
It has been instrumental to me moving ahead in this career and has really helped me network with other industry professionals, learn about all kinds of events, and really understand what it is that can make a planner successful. It has also really helped me land interviews and get a good job - because companies really like to know that their potential employee is educated in this area.
Overall I have had a great experience with this program and highly recommend it to anyone interested.
